National Steel Car Dominates Once Again

Gregory James Aziz has served the Canadian based rail company, National Steel Car, very well as a chief executive officer over the years. It was because of his wise leadership that the company recently celebrated over 100 years in business.

 

Gregory James Aziz began to prepare for his legendary run as Chief Executive Officer during his time at Western University where he would study Economics and receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

 

When Greg James Aziz arrived at National Steel Car, Aziz’s goal was to bring them into the future. Before, National Steel Car had dominated the rail industry, but because of new regulations, it was struggling to compete. This was due to their inability to become environmentally friendly. Greg Aziz knew that if National Steel Car cannot become silently based on green energy than they would go bankrupt as a business.

 

His first day on the job James Aziz gave a speech to all of the personnel. He instilled in them a vision that was both friendly to the environment and also efficient for the rail industry. He promised them that within a few years National Steel Car would create a rail car that could meet the strictest environmental standards.

 

After working with the lead engineers of the research and development portion of his business, James Aziz was able to see a rail car produced that would consume 50% less water and emit 65% less carbon gas and also produce 90% fewer emissions.

 

This railcar was hailed as a game changer on the continent of North America. When Canada and the United States past they are strict environmental regulations National Steel Car was one of only two companies who could now compete. This led National Steel Car to acquire several of their rivals and expand their business throughout the two countries.

One of the contracts National Steel Car acquired was one of Canada’s largest agricultural businesses Canpotex. Canpotex was able to purchase several railcars off National Steel Car for $1.5 billion. They would go to become one of National Steel Car’s longest reigning customers and would stay loyal for several decades.

Because National Steel Car became so environmentally friendly, Canada’s Minister for the environment publicly joined hands of National Steel Car and promoted them as the ideal railcar company.
